When you bring a computer to iSupportU, we start off with our check-in procedure to gather as much information about your issue as possible. We have a standard diagnostic fee to cover the time it takes to find the root cause of your computer’s issue. We then call you with an estimate for the time and cost of the repair.
Make note that technology is not always straight forward. In many ways, a computer can be as complicated as the human body. When you visit the doctor, he/she does the best they can to get you back to your highest state of health. Because of the differences in biochemistry within each of our bodies, this is not always as easy as it may seem. Despite this, the doctor still has to charge for the process of getting you back to your healthy self.
The same is true when working with computers. We start by working to get that computer back to health by using the most probable methods of repair. Sometimes, the issue is more rare and complex than anyone could have imagined. We try hard to keep an open dialog with our clients to ensure they are part of the repair process. The more we explain the processes we use, the more empowered our clients become.
